Since the beginning of this year, Suichang County has actively responded to the requirements for the construction of the "Three Teams", focused on supporting private entrepreneurs to enhance their new internationalization capabilities, fully utilized the resources of overseas Chinese compatriots, and organized enterprises to "go global to secure orders". Up to now, it has supported and organized enterprises including Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd., Weikang Daily Necessities Co., Ltd., and Laoweng Bamboo Charcoal Factory to participate in overseas exhibitions in Germany, Spain, Japan and other places, "securing" more than 100 million yuan in orders.

Among them, Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd. reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Electro Energy of Spain and held a signing ceremony on April 25th, which was attended by Qu Zongnan, a leader of Suichang County.

Founded in 2014, Electro Energy is mainly engaged in the installation of solar panels and household batteries, achieving sales of 60 million euros in 2023. "Through the inspection over the past two days, we found that Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd. meets our expectations in all aspects, and industrial energy storage batteries are exactly the segment we are in urgent need of." Zhang Xiaohai, General Manager of Electro Energy, told reporters that the two parties thus quickly reached a strategic cooperation, hoping to take this as a starting point to jointly explore the European market.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, Electro Energy will fully utilize its profound commercial background and resources in the Spanish market to develop the household energy storage and industrial & commercial energy storage markets, and it is expected to purchase no less than 20 million US dollars of energy storage products from Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd. within 5 years; Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd. will provide cost-effective household energy storage and industrial & commercial energy storage products and technical services. The two parties will jointly explore the European energy storage market and establish a joint venture company in Spain to promote the overseas layout process of Zhejiang Kan Battery.

"This is also the landing of the achievements from our participation in this year's Spain exhibition." Jin Zheyu, Chairman of Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd., introduced that Electro Energy was a potential customer identified by Zhejiang Kan Battery Co., Ltd. during its participation in the Mobile Communication Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain in February this year. "In 2024, we take overseas trade expansion as a strategic goal. In the future, we will also participate in various exhibitions, make better use of the resources of local overseas Chinese hometowns, and improve the effect of exhibition participation and the implementation of projects."

It is reported that to further develop and utilize the resources of overseas Chinese compatriots, the United Front Work Department of the Suichang County Party Committee plans to visit and contact overseas Chinese compatriots in Europe in the second half of the year, and establish the Spain Suichang Chamber of Commerce to build a more convenient and efficient bridge for cooperation between overseas Chinese merchants and enterprises in the county.
